WOW!  Here's a dog on the fast track!  A pup out of Tzeitel's first litter (DC AFC Barben's Martini With A Twist JH x DC NAFC Wildwood's Back With Zack MH) Zeko was sold as a hunting companion to Nathan Williams when he was 8 weeks old.  At about 6 months, he went to trainer Ray Dohse for some time at puppy camp.  Ray knew there was a special spark in this young dog and approached Nathan and us about doing "a little something more" than just hunting with Zeko.

And has he done a little more?  Let's see...by age 18 months he was running--and getting placements in--all-breed Open Limited Gun Dog stakes.  At age 20 months he won the 2007 NVA Eastern Shooting Dog Derby Classic.  At age 28 months, he competed at the 2007 VCA Nationals.  He was the youngest of 59 dogs entered in the Open stake, and one of only ten to make the callbacks.  Two months later, at age 30 months, he finished his Field Champion title at a GSP club's trial.  Three months later, age 33 months - that's LESS THAN 3 YEARS OLD - he placed 4th at the VCA National Gun Dog Championships...again, the youngest dog entered.

Yeah, he's done a little something more.

Watch out for this one...he's just getting started.

Zeko is proudly owned by Nathan Williams, and proudly bred by Trinity Bird Dogs (Wayne & Trish James).  Look for him at all-breed field trials, handled by Ray Dohse in Open Limited stakes, and Wayne or Nathan in Amateur stakes.  You'll also see Zeko in the show ring beginning Spring, 2008, handled by Trish.
